Join us for a relaxing Saturday afternoon as Darshana Kanabar presents "Managing Natur'ly"

The prodigious wonders of nature hold a lot of amazing lessons for us. Some on leadership and management, others on life, while yet some more on simply being human. Join us for an uplifting, enriching session sure to pervade you with positivity and inspiration. This presentation will focus on sharing the journey of a well-managed real-life project, by a magnificent little creature. Accentuated by stories and 5 key take-aways, that can be immediately adopted by those of us seeking to be a better leader, manager or simply a better version of ourselves.

Darshana Kanabar is the Deputy CIO with State o NM Taxation & Revenue Department. With over 25 years serving in the Private and Public sectors, she has lead initiatives and cross functional teams in various industries, in the areas of IT operations management, Enterprise IT Oversight, project management, procurements, strategic planning, training, quality management and systems analysis. Ms. Kanabar is a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Six Sigma Black Belt; and holds a Master’s in Business Administration. Currently a Board member at large, she has also served on the board of the PMI Northern NM chapter as Past President. Outside of work she enjoys music, nature, art and travelling.

We will will also take a few minutes to open the floor for Board nominations. The Following Board positions need to be filled in the upcoming year: President, President-Elect, VP Finance, VP Membership, VP Education, VP Programs (we have 1 nominee for this).
